Full Job Description Position Overview:
Responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics to support project planning, fabrication, and execution. This role involves collaboration with engineers and project leads to ensure all designs meet project specifications and production standards, providing accurate and build-ready documentation across a range of projects.Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in drafting or a related field, ideally within fabrication, entertainment, theatrical, or live event environments Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and BricsCAD Familiarity with SketchUp, and Rhino is a plus Strong attention to detail and precision in technical work Knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving project needs Excellent communication skills for cross-department coordinationResponsibilities:
Develop detailed technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into accurate technical documentation Create 2D schematics and visual representations for design and fabrication teams Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards across all drafted plans Review and revise drawings based on feedback or project updates Support documentation for project bids and proposalsJob Type:

A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences.
