Artist Content Manager and Social Media Video Editor Heaven Bound Music Marketing Austin, TX Job Details Part-time $15 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Research Final Cut Pro Adobe Premiere TikTok Facebook Instagram Full Job Description Overview We are looking for a creative Artist Content Manager and Social Media Video Editor to work with an independent Christian hip hop artist based in Austin. This role is for someone who genuinely understands social media, music culture, short form video, and what makes content entertaining. We are not looking for a traditional corporate social media manager. We want someone who spends time on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, CapCut, and other creative platforms and naturally understands current trends, editing styles, memes, hooks, music content, and internet culture. Most work can be completed remotely, but you must be located in the Austin area and available for occasional in person content days, studio sessions, office work, performances, events, and shoots. What You Will Do Edit short form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Help manage and post content across the artist's social platforms Turn existing videos, performances, studio footage, music videos, interviews, lifestyle footage, and other content into engaging posts Help build weekly content calendars Research current trends and bring new content ideas to the table Create strong hooks, captions, subtitles, and platform specific edits Help respond to comments and build community Help plan content around upcoming music releases Identify content opportunities during shoots, performances, studio sessions, and everyday life Tell the artist what new content should be filmed when additional footage is needed Who We Are Looking For You should have strong creative instincts and a genuine interest in music and social media. Experience with artists, musicians, creators, entertainment, hip hop, or Christian music is highly preferred. You should be comfortable using editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools. You should also understand what is currently performing on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. We care more about your creativity, taste, portfolio, and understanding of content than having a long corporate resume. Students, freelancers, and early career creatives with strong portfolios are welcome to apply. Ideal Person The ideal person is proactive, dependable, creative, organized, and comfortable bringing their own ideas. We want someone who can watch raw footage and immediately recognize which moments could become great content. This has the potential to grow into a larger and potentially full time position as the artist and team continue to grow.
