  • Motion Designer/Animator + Editor (Contract) Creative Center
  • Client Creative Center is Schwab's in-house agency, producing client, prospect, and internal communications across digital experiences.
We're looking for a Motion Designer/Animator + Editor to help deliver insight-driven storytelling and elevate how our brand and products come to life through video. You'll collaborate closely with motion designers, producers, writers, art directors, and UX/UI designers, to tell the entire Schwab brand story, from who we are to the products we offer. You'll create a variety of work that ranges from social media videos to animating graphics for digital platforms to brand campaigns. Creative things you'll do:
  • Animate and deliver motion across digital experiences, including product demos, video explainers and data visualizations
  • Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives
  • Source and edit original and licensed video into engaging stories
  • Uphold brand standards across video mediums and channels
  • Present work, incorporate feedback, and contribute to a collaborative creative culture What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, in fine arts, motion-graphics, or visual effects
  • 3+ years of experience specializing in motion design, animation, and concept-driven storytelling, in one of the following settings: editorial studio, in-house marketing department, creative agency or production company
  • A portfolio demonstrating a variety of work including motion design, graphics animation, and live-action editorial
  • Expert-level proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro; mastery of other Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop) and Cinema The Client applications
  • Experience with sound design and audio engineering a bonus
  • A proven track-record of creating compelling narrative/conceptual content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills and confidence presenting to cross-functional partners
