Job Description

Hello, Cascades at Oak Creek is looking for a dedicated Dietary Manager with a passion for providing nutritious and delicious meals to our nursing home residents. We need an experienced professional to lead our dietary department and ensure the highest standards of nutrition and dining satisfaction for our residents. Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate all activities of the dietary department, including purchasing and meal production. Direct and supervise all dietary personnel including hiring/firing, orientation, training, work schedules, and performance evaluations. Ensure the foodservice production and storage areas are safe and sanitary. Responsible for all nutritional documentation in the electronic health record. Work with the facility Administrator to maintain budgetary and inventory guidelines and goals. Regularly participate in department head meetings. Oversee menus that meet nutritional needs and residents' preferences. Requirements Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification required Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations regarding nursing home dietary requirements Prior foodservice experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred Minimum one-year prior supervisory experience is prefered Benefits Complete medical/dental/vision insurance benefits Employer-matching 401k retirement program Up to 16 days' paid time off per year Company paid Life Insurance
