As a traveling Respiratory Therapist, you'll have the chance to contribute your expertise in a diverse facility, supporting adult and pediatric patients across inpatient and emergency settings. During your 13-week assignment, enjoy self-scheduling and block options—providing the flexibility to explore southern Idaho's natural wonders, local culture, and unique attractions during your downtime. You'll have the chance to work with a wide variety of patient populations, from NICU to geriatrics, ensuring rich professional experiences that strengthen your résumé.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Self-scheduling and block scheduling available Every other weekend required Must attend one monthly departmental meetingQualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certificationBLS, ACLS, PALS
certifications required STABLE and NRP required only for those handling NICU patients At least 1 year of experience; open to first-time travelers Proven NICU experience a must Comfort floating between ICU, MedSurg, NICU, ER, and stepdown unitsResponsibilities:
Conduct and analyze ABGs, administer breathing treatments Manage BiPAP, CPAP, ventilators (including Drager, Cervo-NICU, Hamilton, Philips), assist with bedside bronchoscopy Perform intubation assistance and insert LMA as needed Participate in team leadership; opportunity to act as charge therapist if experienced Adhere to hunter green dress code (scrubs not provided)Benefits & Perks:
