Schedule/Hours:

12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Self-scheduling and block scheduling available Every other weekend required Must attend one monthly departmental meeting

Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification

BLS, ACLS, PALS

certifications required STABLE and NRP required only for those handling NICU patients At least 1 year of experience; open to first-time travelers Proven NICU experience a must Comfort floating between ICU, MedSurg, NICU, ER, and stepdown units

Responsibilities:

Conduct and analyze ABGs, administer breathing treatments Manage BiPAP, CPAP, ventilators (including Drager, Cervo-NICU, Hamilton, Philips), assist with bedside bronchoscopy Perform intubation assistance and insert LMA as needed Participate in team leadership; opportunity to act as charge therapist if experienced Adhere to hunter green dress code (scrubs not provided)
