Job Description
Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Explore Kimberly, Idaho—where striking natural beauty meets adventure and tranquility. As you immerse yourself in this thriving community for a 13-week travel assignment, you'll have the unique chance to experience everything from scenic canyon views to charming small-town hospitality. Fill your downtime with hiking, fishing, and exploring local gems while developing your professional skills in a welcoming healthcare environment. This opportunity allows you to work with a diverse patient population, from NICU to geriatrics, and provides exposure to innovative workplace practices and collaborative leadership models. With a focus on adult, pediatric, and neonatal care, you'll collaborate with experienced team leads, expanding your clinical competencies and enhancing your résumé with hands-on experience across various care settings.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts, 6 am-6 pm or 6 pm-6 am Self-scheduling and block scheduling available Must attend monthly departmental meetings Every other weekend required Holiday coverage as neededQualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required NICU experience required (STABLE and NRP certifications only needed for NICU coverage) Minimum of 1 year experience; first-time travelers welcome Comfort with ABGs, breathing treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilators, bedside bronch assistance Ability to assist with intubation and place LMA Familiarity with equipment such as Drager, Cervo-NICU, Hamilton transport vent, vapotherm, and Philips v60/v30Responsibilities:
Deliver inpatient and ER respiratory care to a diverse patient population Draw and analyze ABGs Perform and document breathing treatments, manage non-invasive and invasive vents Support ICU, MedSurg, NICU, and emergency units as needed Float to varied units as required; never sole RT in-houseBenefits & Perks:
