Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students across a close-knit district for the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time, onsite contract role, you'll help students thrive by fostering their success and independence, collaborating with school teams, and sharing caseload responsibilities with another OT. With schools conveniently located just blocks apart, you'll enjoy seamless transitions and strong partnerships with fellow staff. What you'll bring: Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state Previous school-based OT experience preferred Thorough understanding of IEP process and documentation Strong organizational and communication skills Willingness to relocate temporarily for the assignment Flexibility and teamwork in managing a shared caseload Your responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services to students with IEPs, addressing motor skills, self-care, and sensory needs Conduct assessments and write detailed reports aligned with federal and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective interventions Travel between assigned district schools (all within short distance) Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress reports Support student transitions and participate in meetings as required This assignment spans August 17, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and continuity for your students. The district serves approximately 400-500 students with IEPs, with caseloads divided to ensure manageable, focused service delivery.
