Director of Golf / General Manager

Overview The General Manager/Director of Golf is responsible for overseeing all aspects of golf course operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This position will lead daily operations and uphold the high standards established by Maxim Golf Solutions. Experience Required Oversee all Golf Shop and daily play operations Manage merchandising strategies and maintain an effective open-to-buy plan Supervise outside operations to ensure exceptional service standards Direct and oversee Food & Beverage operations Maintain consistent, professional communication with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure seamless course operations Maximize profitability while controlling operational expenses Ensure all departments maintain the highest level of standards and customer service expectations set forth by Maxim Golf Solutions Develop and lead staff through training, scheduling, and performance management Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and guest satisfaction Monitor and improve operational efficiencies across all departments Essential Responsibilities 3-5 years of proven leadership experience in golf course or club management Strong background in golf operations, merchandising, and hospitality Excellent communication and organizational skills Financial management and budgeting experience preferred Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Benefits After 90 days of employment: Health Dental Vision 401k On-site housing available and negotiable
