Position Concept :

The Pro Shop Associate assists in the management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. The position is responsible for basic golf shop duties and will help in managing Cart Attendants and Player Assistants. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all customers.

General Manager Compensation and benefits: Hourly wage: $17 Golf membership at the facility you are employed Golf cart privileges at the facility you are employed Discounts on golf equipment and merchandise purchases Discounts on F&B at the facility you are employed Driving Range privileges at the facility you are employed Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to: Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play Assist with all opening and closing procedures (cleaning, organizing, restocking, etc.) Assist with men's, women's, junior golf events and programs Assist with the GHIN Handicap system; activating members and posting scores Assist with management of outside service staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved Assist in managing golf car operation, practice facility, and club storage service (as applicable) Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times Assist will facility quality maintenance and cleanliness Knowledge, Skills and Traits Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf Act as a role model for all Team Members by demonstrating the expected behavior and work ethic Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills Self-motivated with desire to promote and market Service and guest focused attitude Experienced in written and oral business communications Remain up-to-date on customer relationship management tactics and strategies Experienced computer user including; Microsoft Word and Excel Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
