Wyoming Child & Family Development, Inc. is now scheduling interviews for a Director of Part C Services. This is a full-time position for 40 hours a week 200 days a year. We offer a complete benefits package, no weekends, and most major holidays off as well as an extended winter break. The Director of Part C Services provides leadership, oversight, and compliance management for WCFD's early intervention program serving infants, toddlers (birth-3), and their families under IDEA Part C. This role ensures implementation of a coordinated, multidisciplinary early intervention system, including child find, evaluation, IFSP development, screenings, referrals, plans of safe care, service coordination, and transition planning, while ensuring services are delivered in appropriate environments and aligned with all applicable requirements.Required Skills/Abilities:
IDEA/Part C program knowledge: Strong working knowledge of IDEA Part C regulations and requirements, including procedural safeguards and timelines.IFSP and family-centered practice:
Ability to support high-quality IFSP development/implementation using family-centered practices, functional outcomes, natural environments, and coaching models Proven ability to partner with families of young children and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Skills in service coordination/case management Should demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education principles. Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals and personalities. Strong communication skills are essential to interact with staff, children, families, and the broader community. Must have effective stress management strategies and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations. Flexibility is key; the ability to adapt to changing daily routines is required. Bilingual candidates are preferred.Education and Experience:
Education (required): Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or related human services field. Education (preferred): Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Special Education, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field. Experience (required): Minimum 3-5 years of experience in early intervention (birth-3), early childhood special education, or related developmental disability services. Demonstrated experience working with families of young children and multidisciplinary teams. Preferred experience with service coordination/case management and developmental assessments or intervention planning (including participation in IFSP meetings). Experience (preferred): 1-3 years of supervisory or program management experience. Must attain additional training or certifications, which may be required by Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc. WCFD will only accept college degrees from accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.Preferred:
Early Intervention credential (if applicable in Wyoming); social work or education licensure; training/certification in developmental screening tools and autism evaluation tools (e.g., ADOS exposure), as applicable.Pay:
