We are currently recruiting for a Director of Rehab (DOR) to join our team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Director of Rehab (DOR) Provides overall coordination of all activities and services provided by the therapy department. Communicates with the interdisciplinary team on the admission of patients/residents requiring skilled rehabilitative services and timeliness of screening process Develops, maintains, and supervises other therapy team members' compliance with effective system of therapy/treatment documentation which conforms to clinical and billing policies and procedures and meets requirements for third party payer documentation and reimbursement. Reviews and approves billing. Oversees the implementation of patient/resident care programs ensuring the effective utilization of therapy procedures and appropriate intensity of services. Determines and schedules staff relative to patient/resident needs to achieve therapy clinical and operational benchmarks. Keeps Administrator and Regional Rehab Manager informed of open positions and recruitment needs Provide appropriate treatment to help residents maintain or attain the highest level of function possible within the confines of his/her physical abilities Ensures that fiscal, clinical and operational goals are achieved Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

PT, PTA, OT, OTA
