Job Description

Position Description & Details Mayville State University is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented student to serve as a Student Archives Assistant beginning in the fall semester. The primary responsibility of this position is to digitize university yearbooks, including scanning, organizing, and accurately naming electronic files. The student will also assist with organizing historical materials and other items stored in the attic of the Larson Center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Scan and digitize university yearbooks Organize and label electronic files according to established procedures Handle historical materials carefully Assist with sorting and organizing materials in the Larson Center attic Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Current Mayville State University student Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail Comfortable performing repetitive scanning and file-management tasks Able to work independently and follow instructions Basic computer skills Able to lift and move boxes or materials as needed
Position Details:
Approximately 10 hours per week $12.00 per hour
