Crafting and executing a comprehensive player development program to elevate performance and retention. Conducting dynamic training sessions that captivate and challenge athletes at every level. Managing a club-specific database to track player progress and vital information. Mentoring co-coaches to ensure alignment with age-specific teaching methods and learning needs. Serving as a beacon of continuous improvement and lifelong learning, forging meaningful connections with players. Encouraging reflective practices, fostering collaboration, and addressing common concerns within the team. Modeling excellence on the field, collaborating on coaching strategies, and providing constructive feedback. Cultivating strong ties within the community, representing our values both on and off the field. Leading 2-4 training sessions weekly per team, tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels. Committing to attending league and tournament games, excluding scheduling conflicts. Adhering to coaching directives and administrative procedures established by leadership. Maintaining transparent communication with players and parents, promptly addressing inquiries and scheduling changes. Hosting regular team meetings to relay important information and reinforce club policies. Playing an active role in player recruitment and team roster management, in accordance with club guidelines. Contributing to club events and initiatives, including recreational all-star tryouts, street soccer sessions, and skills clinics. Participating in progress report meetings and coaching the team through the season's culmination. Ensuring the upkeep of club equipment and facilities, preserving our resources for optimal performance. The Soccer Coach position involves a standard workweek of 42.5 hours, Monday through Friday. The daily schedule is split as follows: 9:00AM to 1:00PM(Administrative duties, video analysis, and curriculum planning) and 3:30PM to 8:00PM (On-field team training and player coaching). Additionally, workers are required to work rotating weekend hours (Saturday and Sunday) to accommodate the league game schedule and tournament participation. Weekend hours will vary based on match times, typically falling between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The total weekly hours will remain consistent, and any hours worked in excess of 40 per week will be compensated at the overtime rate. On the job training will not be provided. Overtime is available at the rate of $44.19 per hour. Daily transportation to and from the designated worksite(s) will not be provided by the employer. It is the worker's sole responsibility to secure their own daily transportation to and from the training facilities and game locations. The employer will, however, provide all necessary transportation between worksites during the workday if travel between locations is required for coaching duties. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The coach will be paid every 2 weeks. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. The employer will be reimbursed for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer if the worker completes 50% of the period of employment covered by the job order. The employer will provide or pay for the cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed from employment for any reason by the employer before the end of the period. The employer will reimburse the worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. The worker is offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays of each 12-week period. Employer will provide voluntary board and lodging if requested by employee. The club has 8 local families in Carlsbad, California, who house temporary workers as host families. The families provide a bedroom with bathroom and 3meals per day. The club compensates the host families as necessary and amounts vary from family to family. The amount for daily subsistence will be at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
