Our goal is to have tons of fun, learn sport-specific skills, and gain confidence on and off the field. We teach children about success, failure, and what it means to be part of a team. Our coaches provide an enthusiastic place for kids to fall in love with their chosen sport. This is a unique opportunity for individuals studying kinesiology or other related fields, and for anyone looking to grow as a coach and leader. Most of all, it's for anyone who loves sports and wants to see others fall in love with it, too. As a coach with us, you'll have the chance to be mentored by a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach and a team with over 50 years of experience, gaining valuable insight on different professions. This is an ideal role for anyone looking to build a career in coaching or other sports-related fields.
AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS INSTRUCTOR & COACH
Instructing elementary-aged kids through different sports curriculum. Knowledge and experience in sports is required. You must have a social and friendly personality, be willing to use your energy, and work with kids for approximately 2 hours per day. You also must be willing to improvise and adapt to the needs of the children and camps. If you do not feed off of the energy from kids, please don't apply. This is a great job for college students and athletes looking for part-time or seasonal work. During the school year, we work with municipalities to provide NAofA sport programs for kids after school, during breaks, holidays, and for teacher work days. This offers parents the ability to leave their kids with us while they may still need to go to work. It offers kids a great way to get active, stay healthy, and have fun outside of school hours. $18-$20 an hour. Schedule will vary.- Coach, teach, motivate, and lead kids each day in class. Deliver curriculum in a safe, high-energy, structured, and quality manner.
