Position Summary:
The School of Health Professions is seeking a full time, non-tenure track professor to teach in the undergraduate Didactic Program in Dietetics and the graduate MS/RDN professional program with potential to assume Program Director role.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to management and administration of accredited programs. Teach 24 credits per academic year in the BS and MS/RDN nutrition programs. Participate in departmental, school and campus committees as appointed. Engage in departmental and campus recruitment events. Promote student retention. Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation Participate in all Departmental, School, and Campus committees (as appointed). Engage in Departmental and Campus recruitment efforts. Maintain high academic standards utilizing appropriate student evaluation mechanisms for assigned courses/programs; analyze and implement changes as part of these programmatic and Departmental outcomes Have a master of science degree, be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and have three years of professional experience post credentialing.
Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
College-level teaching and administrative experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program. Excellent skills in leadership, supervision, written and oral communication skills.

Materials & Equipment:
Operate a computer, copy and fax machine, scanner & any other office equipment. Experience with simulation equipment is preferable.
