Job Description The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem On-Calling Attending Otolaryngologist, Clinical Assistant Professor (HS).

The successful candidate will:

Provide call coverage weekdays and weekends. Coordinate Residence and Medical students in the field Otolaryngology and sub-specialties. Serve on institutional councils and committees and other assignments as directed by Department Chair. Participate as a member of the Department Executive Committee. Attend required departmental conferences. Conduct research that leads to publication and presentation. Assist with department Q&A programs. Develop hospital-base practice. Participate with other department physicians in night call at all affiliated Hospitals. Qualifications Required Qualifications New York State Medical Doctor Licensure. Medical Doctor Degree and graduate of an ACGME-accredited Residency Program. Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist.
