Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year We are seeking a dedicated and passionate elementary teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in Birmingham, MI. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment centered in the teachings of Jesus Christ, and supporting the academic, spiritual, and social development of elementary students.Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards for elementary grade levels. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. Assess and monitor student progress through various evaluation methods and provide timely feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success and address individual needs. Incorporate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning experiences. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Participate in professional development opportunities and school events as required.Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education in the state of Michigan. Experience teaching elementary students preferred. Valid catechist certification or willingness to work on acquiring the certification in the first year of employment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture. Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools.
