Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary Teacher to inspire and educate students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. The ideal candidate will bring energy, innovation, and a passion for childhood development, ensuring each student receives a personalized learning experience that fosters curiosity and confidence. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of learners by integrating engaging curricula, educational technology, and inclusive teaching practices. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, including special education needs and early intervention techniques. Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing performance data to tailor instruction effectively. Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate interactive lessons. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies, fostering a respectful and productive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support student development, including mentoring new teachers or working with children with autism or other special needs. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance data, and behavioral reports in compliance with educational regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, classroom management, and innovative teaching methodologies such as Montessori or library services integration. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children from early childhood through elementary levels is essential. Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional delivery across core subjects like literacy and math. Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and special education requirements. Experience using learning technology platforms for instruction and student progress monitoring is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, staff, and community partners. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and data analysis to support student achievement goals. Background in private school environments or Montessori education is a plus but not mandatory.
