Job Description

Qualifications:
Hold a New Jersey Teaching Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility in K-12 English and certification in Bilingual/Bicultural Education. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of teaching, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnostics, and research related to learning and children needing to learn in bilingual classrooms Experience working with students Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications Successful implementation of instructional strategies Must be computer literate Highly motivated result-driven educator For more information about this position, please visit the Job Descriptions page.
