We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. This is a paid position.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage with campers during various activities and outings
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
  • Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution
  • Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp experience
  • Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and achievements
Skills:
  • Experience working with children, such as babysitting or tutoring
  • Knowledge or experience in theater, sports coaching, or other recreational activities
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques
  • Ability to educate and inspire campers through engaging activities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with campers and fellow staff members
  • First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment
  • Christian counseling experience (preferred but not required) We offer:
