Job Description

Middle School Math and Science Teacher (Grades 5-9) Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Whetstone Academy is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math and Science Teacher to join our passionate team. This position requires a qualified individual to provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades 5-9 with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support in math and science Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and assistive technology to meet the needs of diverse learners Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education
Qualifications:
Experience working with middle school students with diverse learning needs Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and assistive technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students
