Afterschool Coding Instructor (Part-Time)

Pay:

$12.00-$15.00 per hour

Location:

Pearland, TX (In-Person) We're hiring college students or high school seniors to teach coding in our afterschool and camp programs. Instructors work with students in grades K-9 , using the iCode curriculum to make computer science fun and engaging. Training and classroom support provided. Responsibilities Teach coding and computer science concepts Create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom environment Manage classroom behavior Provide weekly updates to parents and staff Assist with basic administrative tasks Qualifications Experience with Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or C#, C++, Scratch, 3D Printing. Experience working with children or students (preferred) Strong communication and people skills Reliable and flexible for afternoons and occasional weekends Familiarity with Lua, Unity, or GameMaker is a plus Experience with VEX Robotics experience is a plus Schedule Monday-Friday afternoons Weekend availability for camps Must be able to commute to Pearland, TX 77584.
