Duties Supervise children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development and early learning standards Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care in accordance with individualized plans Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by following health and safety protocols including first aid procedures Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behaviors, and daily experiences to foster strong relationships Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, resolving conflicts calmly, and promoting social skills among children Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being promptly and appropriately Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, classroom management techniques, and early childhood education principles is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to support diverse learners Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or childhood development is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children from diverse backgrounds Previous babysitting or nanny experience involving toddler care or infant care is beneficial Familiarity with mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with legal requirements for child safety Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
