Overview We are looking for a warm, energetic, and experienced Spanish-Speaking Childcare Assistant who truly loves working with kids! In this role, you will help create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and play. You will also incorporate Spanish language immersion into daily activities, conversations, and routines.

Key Responsibilities Child Interaction & Engagement:

Actively participate with children in creative play, storytime, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and educational activities.

Spanish Language Immersion:

Engage with children in conversational Spanish to promote natural language learning and cultural appreciation throughout the day.

Daily Care Routine:

Assist with meal/snack times, rest/nap periods, hygiene/handwashing, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Supervision & Safety:

Maintain vigilant supervision of children at all times, ensuring both emotional comfort and physical safety.

Team Collaboration:

Support lead staff in executing daily curriculum, managing classroom transitions, and tracking developmental progress.

Qualifications & Requirements Language Skills:

Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) and comfortable leading immersion activities with young children.

Education:

Minimum of 6 completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) units (or equivalent accredited coursework).

Childcare Experience:

Prior experience working with children in a formal childcare setting, preschool, daycare, or early learning center.

Passionate & Energetic:

Genuine love for spending time with kids, with a patient, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor.

Clearances & Certifications:

Must pass standard background/fingerprint checks and have (or be willing to obtain) CPR and First Aid certifications.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
