We are looking for someone who enjoys working in early childhood education, is great with people, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Administrative Assistant Requirements:
Support center leadership with daily administrative tasks Greet and assist families, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Help maintain accurate records, attendance, and documentation Communicate with parents regarding enrollment, updates, and center information Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and training coordination Support curriculum/program organization as needed Ensure compliance with OEC regulations and center policies Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment
What We're Looking For :
Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred) 1+ year experience in a childcare or early education setting
REQUIRED
CPR/First Aid certified Strong computer and typing skills Excellent communication and organization skills Friendly, professional, and dependable personality Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Knowledge of CT ELDS/NAEYC and OEC guidelines a plus Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
