Job Description

Our client is looking for fun, passionate, and energetic an Early Childhood Teacher to join their Brand New Preschool in Weston, CT . The ideal candidate must be willing to work with students 1- to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable diapering and toilet training. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Part-Time; Monday - Friday; year-round employment Can transition into full-time if desired!
Open Positions Floater Teacher:
working with children 1- to 5-years-old and the shift can be 12:00pm to 6:00pm or 1:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday If interested in transitioning into full-time, the schedule would be 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday!
Salary Floater Teacher:
$18.00 - $21.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Assist the Lead Teacher with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as assisting with the maintenance of educational portfolios Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Qualifications
PREFERRED
Experience:
Experience working with children 1- to 5-years-old in some capacity (babysitting and nannying okay!!) Must be at least 16 years of age Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility
