Make a Difference in Someone's Day TLC Adult Day Care & Recreation Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and energetic individual who enjoys working with older adults and adults with disabilities. This is more than a traditional caregiving job. What You'll Do As a member of the TLC team, you may help with: Assisting participants with personal care and daily needs Supporting and participating in recreational and social activities Encouraging participant engagement, independence, and well-being Helping with meals, mobility, and other routine needs Observing participants and communicating changes or concerns to appropriate staff Assisting with keeping the center organized, welcoming, and safe Working cooperatively with other team members Completing other duties needed to support our participants and daily center operations Who We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who: Truly enjoys working with seniors and adults with disabilities Is compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful Has a positive attitude and enjoys interacting with people Communicates well with participants, families, and coworkers Can work independently and follow through on assigned responsibilities Takes initiative and is willing to help where needed Is comfortable working in an active, team-oriented environment Experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide (HHA), nursing assistant, caregiver, or working with seniors is preferred, but we are especially interested in finding the right person with the right attitude and commitment to caring for others. Preferred Qualifications CNA, HHA, nursing aide, caregiving, or similar experience Experience working with older adults or adults with disabilities Current CPR and First Aid certification Schedule TLC is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available. Scheduling is based on the needs of the center. No nights or weekends.
