The ideal candidate committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom while implementing the Georgia Curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (required) Experience teaching in a preschool or Georgia Pre-K classroom (required) Knowledge of Georgia Pre-K standards and Bright from the Start requirements preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Must pass all required background checks and meet Georgia childcare licensing requirements Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Georgia Pre-K curriculum Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment Monitor and assess children's progress and maintain accurate documentation Communicate regularly with families regarding student development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Collaborate with assistant teachers, administrators, and support staff Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start regulations and Quality Rated standards
