We are seeking a caring and dependable Child Educator for a full-time or part-time, temp-to-hire position in Marion, IA , working Monday-Friday on the day shift . This role involves supervising children, supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, leading age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom. Some experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right fit. Responsibilities Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being . Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities . Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development . Assist with meals, snacks, nap times, and daily routines. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and coworkers . Requirements Some childcare or child education experience preferred; training available for the right fit. Ability to provide positive guidance and encourage appropriate behavior. Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. Must have a clear background and be able to complete fingerprinting . Ability to follow health, safety, and childcare regulations .
