Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. If you have experience working with students, a strong background in early childhood education, and a love for teaching, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children can explore, play, and learn
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs and abilities
- Foster social-emotional development through positive reinforcement, guidance, and modeling appropriate behavior
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
Experience:
- At minimum 1 year as a lead toddler teacher in a early learning setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and other key subjects
- Experience working with preschool-aged children or toddlers is preferred
- Knowledge of special education strategies is a plus Qualifications (Not required but nice to have)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- State certification or licensure in Early Childhood Education (if required by state regulations)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
