Job Description

The toddler teacher will work with the Director and other team members to ensure all EEC requirements are met and students are healthy, safe, and engaged. Duties and Responsibilities are as follows: plan activities/curriculum-keep written plan updated and available Clean up after activities, meals, closing duties Ensure an accurate count of students at all times, maintain ratios Prep materials for activities and centers, provide supervisor with material needs list Work cooperatively with other team members Complete progress reports for each student in December and May Complete required professional development Attend monthly mandatory staff meetings Meet DEEC and toddler qualifications in education and at least two years work experience Desire to work with children ages 15 months to 2 1/2 years Handle confidential information in a professional manner. Possess ability to lift children to properly complete diaper changes Must be reliable, flexible, and have a positive attitude. Have ability to develop positive relationships with staff, parents and children. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve. Must abide by all EEC licensing requirements Competent in Ipad use Other duties as assigned
