Job Description

Our mission. Spring Hill Recovery is part of Northeast Recovery, a network of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Facilities that provide a variety of levels of care to those who are prepared to begin their journey toward recovery. Spring Hill is a 40-bed residential treatment center, with a large campus that helps clients heal with holistic and evidence-based modalities. We are hiring a Counselor at our Spring Hill Recovery Location in Ashby, Massachusetts!
Shift:
Part time (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
  • 8 hour shifts)
Salary Range:
$33,000
  • $45,000 annually (depending on experience and licensure) Spring Hill Recovery Center
  • 250 Spring Hill Road Ashby MA As a Counselor, you will… Work on site; in person inpatient facility Carry a case load and conduct psychoeducational groups Gather biopsychosocial data, including that related to clients' mental and physical health, addiction, or problem behavior and assess their readiness for treatment Work with clients to identify treatment goals and develop treatment plans Review and work collaboratively with case management to recommend treatment options with clients and their families Guide and support clients in the development of adaptive skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their addiction Work with clients to develop a comprehensive plan to guide next steps Active participation in multi-disciplinary case presentations and discussions Job Requirements Education•varies based on having LADC2 Experience•prior experience in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse setting Licensure•Counselors are required to have an active LADC 2 in Massachusetts.
