EEC Certified Infant Teacher - Join Our Little Hands Family! Little Hands Children's Center is hiring an experienced, EEC-certified Infant Teacher to join our team! If you love working with babies, understand infant development, and want to work at a center where teachers are appreciated and supported, we would love to meet you. We are a privately owned childcare center looking for a dependable, nurturing, energetic teacher who understands that working in an infant classroom is so much more than bottles and diapers. Our infant teachers help babies feel safe, loved, and secure while supporting their development through play, language, sensory experiences, tummy time, music, movement, and individualized care. Competitive Pay Pay is based on EEC certification, childcare experience, education, and college coursework. Candidates with additional early childhood education classes, degrees, Lead Teacher qualifications, and infant classroom experience may qualify for a higher starting rate. We want to recognize the experience and education you bring to the classroom! What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Be Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certified or meet the requirements for EEC Teacher Certification Have experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting Understand infant development, routines, safe sleep, feeding, diapering, and age-appropriate curriculum Create a warm, loving, engaging classroom environment Build strong relationships with children and families Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers Work well as part of a teaching team Be dependable, positive, and ready to be involved in the classroom Follow all Massachusetts EEC regulations and center policies EEC Lead Teacher Certification is a plus! Requirements Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification preferred/required for this position Previous infant childcare experience strongly preferred Must meet all Massachusetts EEC background-record-check requirements Must meet all EEC health and training requirements Must be reliable and able to work a consistent schedule
