Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Lead classroom management efforts by organizing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and creating an inviting learning environment. Collaborate with team members to develop innovative teaching strategies that support early childhood development principles. Conduct first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary, ensuring quick response to any health emergencies. Uphold all health and safety standards, including child supervision protocols and sanitation procedures. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development stages, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills. Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and pediatric first aid required; ongoing training preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, children, and team members. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect. Prior experience in toddler care, infant care, or nannying is a plus.
