Job Description
Infant Teacher First Class Preparatory School First Class Preparatory School is seeking a caring, dependable Infant Teacher to provide a safe and nurturing classroom for infants. The Infant Teacher will support each child's development through responsive care, play, and consistent daily routines. Responsibilities Supervise infants at all times and follow classroom safety and sanitation procedures. Feed, diaper, and comfort infants according to their individual schedules and care plans. Create age-appropriate activities that encourage movement, language, exploration, and social development. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and accurately document meals, diaper changes, naps, and daily activities. Communicate warmly and professionally with families through Brightwheel and in person. Work with other staff to maintain a positive classroom environment and follow school policies and applicable childcare requirements. Qualifications Experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare setting is preferred. Ability to meet North Carolina childcare employment and background check requirements. Patience, reliability, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in infant development. Ability to meet the physical demands of infant care, including lifting and carrying children.
