About This Role We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team in Brookline, NH. In this role, you will design and implement a high-quality curriculum that fosters a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. You will guide assistant teachers, collaborate closely with families, and ensure that every child's unique emotional, social, and academic needs are met. What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote cognitive and social development. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom volunteers to maintain a cohesive team environment. Maintain continuous, open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily milestones. Assess student development regularly and adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning styles. Ensure the classroom adheres to all state licensing regulations, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards. Requirements Minimum of 12 credits in ECE or a related field Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a lead or primary teacher in a licensed childcare or school setting. Active New Hampshire teacher certification or eligibility to meet NH Childcare Licensing Bureau lead teacher requirements. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire. Available to work until 5:30 pm Nice To Haves Associate's degree in Education or a specialized teaching discipline.
