Duties Lead daily classroom activities focused on toddler care, early intervention, and literacy education to support each child's developmental milestones. Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate child development instruction, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Foster a safe, nurturing environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental goals, and address any concerns related to childhood development or child welfare. Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that integrate physical education, math concepts, and standardized testing preparation suitable for toddlers. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, behavior management plans, and classroom activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Support professional growth by participating in ongoing training related to special education, preschool teaching methods, and early childhood education best practices. Requirements Minimum of 60 college credits or Associates Degree required 3 or more years of proven experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities Demonstrated understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers Proven experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting, particularly with toddlers or infants. Strong knowledge of child development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience developing curriculum content that promotes literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in early intervention or special education are a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Ability to plan engaging lessons using lesson planning tools tailored for young children's learning needs.
