The Long Term Substitute Preschool Teacher in Training would be responsible for following the Creative Curriculum, creating lesson plans and entering assessment into TS Gold. This individual could remain in the position for a maximum of three months . At the end of three months, the individual either obtains a NJ Certificate of Eligibility in Pre-K -3rd within the required time frame in order to be hired permanently or vacates the position at the end of the 3 month period. Must hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree and be working towards NJ Teacher Certification with a P-3 endorsement. Certification must be issued within the 3 months of holding the position. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum Knowledge of Early Childhood Classroom Management and Assessment Experience working with Preschool Students Ability to work collaboratively with staff, administration and families Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators and the community.
