  • $19 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Behavioral standards enforcement in schools Parent collaboration Parent communication in school administration Pediatric first aid Student discipline Full Job Description Looking for a bright and energetic teaching assistant to join our group family day care who is comfortable working with children ages 10 months old to 4 years old.
Our hours of operation are 8:30am to 5:30pm.
  • Must be willing to complete the initial 15 hours in training courses through the NYS Office of Child and Family Services or Child Care Council.
  • Must be certified willing to get certified in pediatric first-aid and CPR with American Heart Association or Child Care Council.
  • Must Complete Extensive Background check
  • Must interact with the children and encourage their involvement in activities and other related lesson for the day.
  • Must be able to communicate with parents in a professional manner an use appropriate and positive discipline that is consistent with school policy.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 1 year experience in an Early Childhood Development Center (Preferred)
  • Age Groups:
    Infant, Toddler, Preschool
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE), First Aid Training and CPR
  • Maintain professional manner and respect confidentiality
  • know and assist in carrying out the established daily schedule
  • Contribute to the ongoing planning of the program and assist in the implementation of those plans
