QUALIFICATIONS

4 year Degree inEarly Childhood Minimum Education :
2 year Associate Degree inEarly Childhood/ CDA Preferred Experience:
3 years teaching experience in a toddler classroomMinimum Experience:
1 year in an early childhood settingPreferred Personal:
Certified in CPR, Child Abuse.First Aide, Communicable Disease:
Ability to relate well with parents as well as childrenMinimum Personal:
18 years of age. Willing to attend required trainingsDUTIES :
(general duties) To plan, supervise and implement the program for the class in accordance with state licensing regulations and the policies and philosophy of the center. To establish secure, trusting and nurturing relationships with each child as well as their families To maintain all necessary logs, reports, attendances and daily communication sheets to ensure communication with parents; and complete all state and USDA requirements To handle the arrangement, appearance, décor and learning environment of the classroom. To participate in recommended training programs, conferences, workshops, and other aspects of professional growth. To follow the procedure for opening and closing each day To assist in public relations events sponsored by the center. To attend all staff meetings.Job Type:
