We are seeking an enthusiastic, active, innovative, and quick-thinking Infant / Teacher who is nurturing, dependable, qualified, and passionate about providing safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate care . This is an opportunity to bring your creativity, experience, and ideas to a new program while growing and expanding your knowledge with us. Our Infant and Toddler Teacher will create a warm and welcoming classroom where every child feels safe, known, loved, respected, and supported. The ideal candidate understands infant development, builds meaningful relationships with children and families, and provides individualized care throughout the day. Required Qualifications Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years of age Be physically able to safely perform infant/Toddler care responsibilities Meet at least one of the following Oregon qualification options for an Infant/toddler At least 750 hours of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable group-care program at the appropriate infant/toddler age level. Registered in My ORO account Have or obtain an Oregon's Central Background Registry Flexible and able to handle high stress situations Preferred Qualities Warm, patient, loving, and attentive Dependable and punctual Knowledgeable about infant development and responsive caregiving Able to communicate professionally with families and coworkers Comfortable working as part of a teaching team Organized and able to follow individual care schedules Committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom Passionate about helping infants learn, grow, and build secure relationships Join the Storybook Team At Storybook, our teachers are the heart of our school. We are looking for an Infant Teacher who will provide attentive care, create meaningful early-learning experiences, and help every infant feel safe, loved, and supported.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
