Looking to hire a loving teacher to join our welcoming in-home child care facility. As a Child Care Assistant, you will play an important role in nurturing our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
Supervise children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age Maintain a fun, stimulating and safe environment Provide a caring learning environment Interact with children during all working hours Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote child development Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress Prepare and serve meals Change diapers/ assist with potty training Complete daily cleaning tasks (food prep areas, floors, bathrooms, etc.)
Qualifications:
​​Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children Experience with children Enjoy working with children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong work ethic Prompt & on time work history Reliable transportation to and from work Qualifications we will help you obtain: Background Check (enrollment in Oregon's Criminal History Registry) Food Handler's License (within 30 days of hire) Child/Infant First Aid/CPR Certification (within 30 days of hire) Completion of child development classes (within 30 days of hire)
