We are looking for a warm, thoughtful, and capable Lead Toddler Guide/Teacher to join our team and take a meaningful role in the lives of our youngest students. We are looking for someone who understands that these everyday moments are the curriculum—and that how we speak, move, respond, and interact with children matters. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys being with toddlers and is able to see the child behind the behavior. You are patient without being passive, confident without being controlling, and able to create a calm, beautiful, and purposeful environment where children can do meaningful things for themselves. Responsibilities As the Lead Toddler Guide, you will: Lead and care for a Toddler classroom in accordance with Montessori principles and our school's philosophy Create and maintain a prepared, orderly, inviting, and developmentally appropriate environment Observe children closely and use those observations to guide your interactions and planning Support children's growing independence in practical life, toileting, eating, dressing, movement, language, and social development Present appropriate Montessori materials and experiences Maintain consistent and respectful classroom routines Support children through transitions with patience and intention Communicate thoughtfully with families regarding their child's development and daily experiences Work closely with assistant teachers and other members of the school community Maintain a clean, safe, and beautiful classroom environment Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing reflection Model professionalism and respect in every interaction with children, families, and colleagues Who You Might Be You may be an experienced Montessori Toddler Guide with formal Montessori training. You may be an experienced early childhood teacher who has discovered Montessori and is eager to deepen your understanding. You may be someone with significant experience working with toddlers who instinctively understands the importance of respect, independence, observation, and connection. Qualifications Preferred:

Montessori Toddler certification or AMS/AMI training Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Previous lead teaching experience Experience working with children ages 18 months-3 years Also encouraged to apply: Experienced early childhood educators without Montessori certification Teachers who have worked extensively with toddlers and are interested in Montessori Candidates with a strong understanding of child development and a genuine respect for young children

Compensation Full-Time:

$37,000-$42,000 annually, based on experience, education, Montessori training, and qualifications.

Part-Time:
