Our goal is to encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, confidence, and social-emotional growth in every child. Position Summary We are looking for a caring, reliable, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team. The Preschool Teacher will create a positive classroom environment, plan age-appropriate lessons, and support children's learning through hands-on STEAM activities, play-based learning, and daily routines. Responsibilities Create and implement engaging preschool lessons that include STEAM-based activities. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions. Encourage creativity, independence, teamwork, and problem-solving. Communicate professionally with parents, families, and staff. Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and development. Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, health, and safety procedures. Assist with classroom setup, cleaning, materials preparation, and daily reports. Work as part of a team with other teachers, assistants, and directors. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred. Knowledge of child development and classroom management. Passion for STEAM education, creativity, and hands-on learning. Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills. Must be dependable, professional, and nurturing. Ability to pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements. CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Preferred Skills Comfortable leading art, science, building, sensory, and discovery activities. Ability to create a structured but fun classroom routine. Bilingual skills are a plus.
