May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

As a Physician Assistant, you will utilize your expertise in family medicine, pain management, clinical assessments, patient safety, and nursing, to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in using electronic medical records to document patient care and treatment plans. Your ability to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, prescribe medications and treatments, and order and interpret diagnostic tests will be critical in providing comprehensive care to our patients. If you strive to deliver the best patient care to those in your community and take pleasure in making a difference in the lives of your patients and their families, we are looking for you! Enjoy a flexible schedule while visiting skilled nursing home facilities and work as part of a team in a collaborative care model. Full-time or Part-time Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current certification as a Physician Assistant Valid state medical license Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine, geriatrics
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently
