Infant Teacher Assistant - First Step at Kingston Come join our team at First Step at Kingston , a well-established, family-oriented child care center in South Kingstown! We are seeking caring, dependable Teacher Assistants to support our veteran Lead Teachers in providing a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. About the
Role:
Infant Teacher Assistants help implement daily routines and curriculum activities, support children's social and emotional development, and ensure a safe, positive classroom atmosphere. You'll work alongside experienced educators who are passionate about early learning and dedicated to mentoring new team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a licensed child care center preferred, but we will mentor the right candidates A warm, patient, and positive attitude Reliability and genuine love for working with young children High school diploma (or equivalent) required; coursework or credentialing in Early Childhood Education is a plus Must meet Rhode Island DCYF licensing requirements, including background checks and training compliance Join us in the rewarding field of early childhood education—where every day brings new joy, laughter, and learning!
