Role:
Kiddie Academy Murphy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our growing team in Murphy, TX! In this rewarding role, you'll have the opportunity to shape young minds, foster early childhood development, and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment where children can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curricula aligned with early childhood education standards Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for all children Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices Strong classroom management and communication skills Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children
