Job Description

Duties
  • Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for children.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
  • Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including observations and assessments.
  • Prepare and serve snacks or meals to children, following dietary guidelines and restrictions.
  • Assist with toilet training and personal hygiene routines.
  • Clean and organize the classroom, materials, and equipment on a regular basis. Experience
  • Previous experience working with children in a Montessori setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with creating engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • First aid and CPR certification is preferred but not required.
  • Montessori Credential acquired or in training.
