Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and collaboration with team members. Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management techniques and behavior management skills. Familiarity with standardized testing methods used in early childhood education to assess developmental progress. Ability to work with children requiring special education or additional support services such as early intervention programs. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare issues. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in childhood development is preferred.
