Approximately 30 hours per week
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
Encourage positive behavior and social development
Assist children with daily routines, including meals, restroom breaks, and nap time
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Communicate professionally with parents and staff regarding childrens progress and needs
Monitor and document childrens activities and behavior as needed
Follow all daycare policies, health guidelines, and safety procedures
Assist with classroom setup, decorations, and learning materials
Support teamwork and collaboration with other daycare staff
Complete online training provided by the employer
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required
Employer is willing to train
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, patient, and caring attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
Additional Requirements Upon Hire
Selected applicants will be required to obtain CPR Certification through an approved provider
Selected applicants will also be required to complete a background check through a provider designated by the employer
The cost of the CPR Certification and background check will be the responsibility of the employee or may be deducted from payroll with authorization
